| Amelia is an experienced, licensed and nationally certified physician assistant who has been performing a wide range of noninvasive aesthetic procedures for almost 15 years. She is a master at combining different fillers and muscle relaxants to create a restored natural appearance. Her services are made to order for each client with extreme attention to detail. She is among the most experienced practitioners who use time consuming, artistic and hand executed injectable and laser techniques. She performs nearly 3,000 treatments yearly. She is certified for multiple lasers and is an expert at combining injectables with laser treatments such as the fractional CO2 laser. |

Amelia practices in Tustin and Newport Beach under the supervision of her medical director, Dr. Brian Levine MD. Within Orange County, she is known as the “Insider’s Choice” or Go-to-Expert” for achieving distinctive results that appear natural and youthful. Amelia privately instructs physicians, nurses and physician assistants on the art of injecting, has been on the national faculty for Allergan and regularly provides treatment for Allergan’s trainers and trainees. Prior to building her own practice, Amelia provided services throughout Orange County for several medical spas and plastic surgeons.
Amelia pioneered the PA profession as a member of the charter class of the Johns Hopkins University Physician Assistant program in Baltimore, Maryland. Johns Hopkins University, one of the premier medical schools in the nation, is consistently ranked in the top five teaching hospitals in the country, and commonly is either number one or two. Following graduation Amelia worked for the Chief of Plastic Surgery and several internationally known surgeons in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital before accepting the position of Medical Director for Goucher College in Towson, Maryland. She completed her MBA degree at the Johns Hopkins University before moving to southern California in 1989. She has experience working in plastic surgery, emergency medicine, women’s health, occupational medicine, endocrinology, ophthalmic surgery, and family practice. .
As an assistant professor, she educated more than a thousand physician assistants in California while teaching at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She is a past President of the California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA), former chair of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) Judicial Affairs Committee, former test writer for the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and co-founder of the Society of California Dermatology Physician Assistants (CDPAS).
In addition to her multi-faceted medical and professional background, Amelia is married and has two daughters and three grandchildren. She resides in Northwood with her husband, Derrick, who has a PhD in Fluvial Geomorphology and manages projects related to alternative energy and water quality for Tetra Tech in Irvine. She enjoys traveling, gardening, crafts and spending time with her family.
